Campaign for Dror Israel Schools for Youth At Risk

Dror Israel Educators Don’t Just Teach, They Transform Students’ Lives

We commit our lives to our work, living in educator communities, devoting time, energy, and resources - whatever it takes to help our students succeed. Most students have been rejected from other schools and Dror represents their “last chance.”

IMPACT

With our Teach & Transform Campaign of $1 million we can continue our important work to change thousands of students’ lives throughout Israel.

OUR CAMPAIGN TO RAISE $1 MILLION WILL…

  • Provide teacher stipends for ongoing training and professional development

  • Fund extra student-teacher engagement and family support

  • Underwrite innovative curricular tracks

THE NEED

  • Compensate for the 24/7 investment of time, energy, and extra support every Dror educator voluntarily makes.

  • Sustain transformative education - small student-teacher ratios, project-based learning, and the many innovative programs at our high schools.

Invest in Teacher Training - $2K per teacher

Dror educators participate in intensive training with workshops 2-3 times per week, semi-annual seminars, and an intensive week-long summer retreat, organized by Dror’s National Pedagogical Center.

Invest in Student Support - $2K per teacher

Teachers are mentors and advocates. They provide 24/7 support with parents, social workers, and psychologists to ensure students’ well-being.

Invest in Schools - $25K per school

Special curricular tracks teach important skills and engage the creativity of students. Students develop skills necessary for success in today’s economy.
