Healing and Rebuilding Israel

Dror Israel is a leading force for social change in Israel. Our trained educators, living communally in 14 Educators Communities - Educators Kibbutzim – are providing emergency relief and trauma support in schools, after-school programs, and local community initiatives. We bring vital stability and care for evacuees, frontline communities, and families impacted by war.

Our programs impact the lives of over 200,000 Israelis annually.

As Israel recovers, our work has never been more urgent!

This summer has become a mission of national importance. Tens of thousands of Jewish, Arab, and Druze children will find safety, structure, and joy through Dror Israel’s trauma-supportive summer programs.

By providing leadership training, emotional-educational support programs and after-school activities for hundreds of local children and teens, we are helping to reestablish a sense of normalcy and stability.

Yaara, Young Educator in Kiryat Shmona

Those of us coming to live here, we’re not just coming to work, we’re coming to build and help families feel they have something to come back to. The joy in the kids’ faces this week reminded me exactly why I am making this move.
