Hachaluz is Dror Israel’s social sports initiative, founded in 2010 by Dror Israel educators to promote fair and inclusive sports culture among children and youth. Since then, tens of thousands of participants have taken part in Hachaluz activities—through teams, tournaments, and unique community events.

Its aims to build a more just, equal, and tolerant society in Israel through accessible sports, with a strong focus on education, social group work, and community building.

What Is the Reserve League?

Reinforce Social Bonds • Promote Healthy Routines • Strengthen Camaraderie

The Reserve League is a nationwide football league just for Israel’s reservists, providing a much-needed outlet after months of intense service:

  • Weekly regional matches

  • Teams formed by army units – strengthen bonds between brothers-and sisters-in-arms

  • Focus on health, community, and routine – not just competition

The Reserve League fills a gap no one else is addressing. It’s not just a sports league, it’s a social resilience project, helping thousands of young adults continue to serve their country in a new way: by staying strong, connected, and supported at home.
